DeWalt trade marketing manager John Westland said woodworking machinery was DeWalt’s heritage and still a “fundamental” part of its business.

“DeWalt’s presence at W6 further extends the sheer breadth of products on show for the joinery professional,” said exhibition director John Smith-Bodden.

Meanwhile, an innovation award has been launched for the Furnicom part of W6, which focuses on furniture components. Celebrity designer Linda Barker will judge the entries, free for every Furnicom exhibitor, and present the award.

Closing date for entries is August 31. For more details visit www.w6exhibition.com
