The Wood Protection Association (WPA) has updated its fire retardants information sheet and manual to include FirePRO from Osmose.
FirePRO is the second humidity resistant type retardant to be listed by the WPA, along with Dricon from Arch Timber Protection.
WPA director Dr Chris Coggins said that the update to the information sheet and manual would “prove invaluable to users and specifiers”, adding that they could be confident that those products listed by the WPA have the correct certification.
“Specifiers can be confident in choosing a flame-retardant product from among those listed in the WPA manual,” said Dr Coggins.
“Where a listed product also meets the WPA Approval Scheme requirements, certificated performance is also to be found in the manual.”
