Glenalmond Timber Co Ltd, manufacturer of the well-established super-dried, moisture-protected Ultrajoist, was promoting its new finger-jointed cladding.
The tongue and groove cladding is available in lengths up to 9m and in either softwood or hardwood options, with or without preservative/fire protection, in a choice of opaque or translucent fully factory applied decorative coatings.
The company was also promoting its FSC-certified British sweet chestnut. “It’s classed as durable and is available in commercial volumes,” said managing director Fraser Steele. “It’s increasingly being specified by architects in the south.”
