UK paint manufacturer HMG Paints is trailblazing a local supply service in its home city of Manchester.
Marketed under the HMG Select brand and equipped with distinctive liveried delivery vans, the service offers next-day delivery and bespoke colour matching on small quantities of coatings, primers and thinners.
It is targeting small and medium-sized commercial paint users including furniture makers.
Once the Manchester pilot is proven, the company intends to extend the scheme nationwide, possibly on a franchise basis, planning around 30 branches.
