Swedish materials handling equipment manufacturer Kalmar Industries is to start making forklift trucks for Still GmbH.
The co-operation agreement covers the production of internal combustion (IC) trucks within a capacity range of 6-8 tonnes and electric trucks between 5.5 and 8 tonnes.
Still will deliver parts and components to Ljungby in Sweden and production of the vehicles will start at the beginning of 2004. They will be sold under the Still name through its own extended sales network.
