The precision and space efficiency of the KoolKut KK12 panel saw from Sagetech Industries fitted the requirements of a new furniture manufacturing business in Grayshott, near Hindhead, Surrey where space was at a premium.
John Bevis, director of Magical Rooms which makes themed bedroom furniture for children, said: “We knew we had to make a significant ‘up-front’ investment in the workshop, and that we had to get that investment right first time.
“If we installed anything less than the best tool for each task, we’d have been stuck with it – and that could have had very serious implications for the success of the business.”
He said a panel saw was a basic necessity for the business where space was a prime consideration, as were accuracy and squareness of cut.

The vertical orientation of the KoolKut coupled with its linear precision bearings and rigid moving gantry system allow for highly accurate cutting to exceptional degrees of squareness by a single operator.
Mr Bevis said that what two people would struggle to do on a table saw, one can do with ease on the KoolKut. He added: “We couldn’t do without it. There’s no question it will pay for itself and more.”
Prices for the KoolKut start at £2,995.
