Lab Systems Furniture has bought an Italian Tecnoma XT8 edgebander to boost efficiency.
The entry-level edgebander – intended for small companies – provides automatic feeding, gluing and finishing for a wide variety of edging materials. The purchase of the machine, from Masterwood UK, is intended to enable the company to process its own panels instead of buying them already edged.
Lab Systems Furniture’s managing director Geoff Lound said ‘This is designed to give us a quicker turnaround and means less reliance on suppliers.’
