Power tool manufacturer Makita (UK) Ltd is backing a Health & Safety Commission roadshow designed to improve construction health and safety practices.
The company has provided prizes for 14,000 scratch card competitions and 14,000 copies of its new vibration comparison chart, to be handed out during the Working Well Together roadshow, which visits 50 UK construction sites during September and October.
Makita has also kitted out roadshow staff with safety protection clothing, while site workers will receive “goody bags” containing gifts and safety literature.
