The crocodile, made from a fir log by local chainsaw sculptor Iain Chalmers, was treated at Fettes Sawmill in Tore, north of Inverness.
The 3m-long scultpure, which will be placed alongside a customer’s garden pond, was so heavy it had to be lifted by a fork lift onto two bogeys before being rolled into the treatment tank.
Fettes Sawmill has treated other unusual items made by Mr Chalmers, including VIP seats for a recent Fat Boy Slim concert.
