John Perry has been elected as chairman of TRADA. He succeeds Geoff Shaw who has held the position since July 2000.
Mr Perry, general manager business development with Crown Timber plc, has 11 years’ experience as a main board director with both private and listed companies. He has managed retailing and factory operations and has taken responsibility for major international mergers, acquisitions and disposals.
A former director of the Timber Trade Federation and past chairman of the Diversion Insurance (Timber) Association, Mr Perry has been a TRADA board member since 1996.
