Woodtech Machinery is to hold an ‘open house’ at its Hungerford showroom after winning the exclusive UK/Irish agency for German manufacturer Avola’s angle-cutting cross-cut saws.
Avola manufactures industrial circular sawbenches on which the under-table circular sawblade is held within a rotating section of the worktable. Applications range from truss and timber frame manufacture to fencing, joinery and sawmilling operations.
The open house on May 14-16 will demonstrate the Gama 60V model. Prices start at around £10,000 for a manual machine to £30,000 for fully automatic CNC models.
