The International Trade Fair of Machines and Tools for the Wood and Furniture Industries (Drema), being held in Poznañ on April 24-27 will attract almost 550 exhibitors covering 24,000m2, according to organisers Inwestor Publishing House and Poznañ International Fair.

Furnica, the Trade Fair of Components for Furniture Production, will feature about 200 companies spread over 6,000m2.

This year’s event will see the first Economic Forum of the Polish Wood and Furniture Industry. Participants will include both Polish and foreign scientists, experts and practitioners.

The event, which aims to examine the main problems experienced by woodworking and furniture companies in Poland, will include a debate about medium-term opportunities for the industries.

PricewaterhouseCoopers and the Polish Economic Chamber of Wood Industry are partners in the exhibition.
