Siempelkamp has secured the contract to build the largest wood based panel plant and continuous press in China.
Jiangsu Dare Wood Industries Co Ltd of Danyang has placed an order with Siempelkamp to build the new MDF plant 300km north-west of Shanghai.
The plant will have an annual capacity of 200,000m3 of HDF boards with densities in excess of 940kg/m3 and thinner boards of up to 2mm.
Building will start at the beginning of next year and an 8.5×37.1m ContiRoll continuous press will be installed.
Sicoplan will deliver the planning and engineering for the plant, IMAL the gluing system, Büttner the drying system and CMC Texpan the mat former.
