Swiftwood Imports Ltd has implemented SalesLogix Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software to boost its operational efficiency with customers and suppliers.

The Wisbech-based company is also using Sage CRM integration technology to join SalesLogix with front and back-office systems to achieve a “single view of each customer”.

Introduction of SalesLogix, by Pinnacle Computing, follows the installation of Sage Line 200 software which optimised Swiftwood’s purchasing, sales, manufacturing, distribution and timber tally processes.

Ann Howard, Swiftwood’s IT manager, said the new system enables the company to take information stored on paper notes and in sales managers’ memories and put it on one screen for everybody’s easy access.

She said: “The ability to show lost custom, leads and opportunities, and competitior information has the potential to place our company at the very cutting edge of the industry.”
