James England has been appointed forest manager in Tilhill‘s Jedburgh office. Working across the company’s Central Borders District, Mr England will be responsible for the management of over 8,000ha of commercial conifer plantations.

His work will include planning, budgeting and control of all forest operations as well as the preparation of long-term felling and restocking plans to UK Woodland Assurance Scheme standards.

Mr England was previously in Tilhill’s East Midlands office.
