Tough, which recently moved to a 20,000ft2 purpose-built factory at Craven Arms, said the Venture’s ability to produce carcass components had made a dramatic difference in terms of quality control, flexibility and control of supplies and stockholding.
“The significance of this machine for us is not just the increase in production capacity, imporant though that is,” said company founder David Vesty. “It also lies in the efficient and flexible manufacturing processes now available which immediately starts to feed back into our design capability to keep on keeping up with customers’ needs.”
