Weinig AG has acquired a 70% share of the US company Control Logic Inc, a software solutions specialist in the fields of wood optimising and scanner technology.
Weinig, which manufactures woodworking machines for solid wood processing, will promote Control Logic worldwide and plans to introduce the technologies onto other markets.
The acquisition is seen by Weinig Group as an important element in the process chain of solid wood machining. The company said the investment in the field of solid wood optimising would strengthen its position as a supplier of system solutions all from one source.
