Wood-Mizer has extended its door-to-door blade resharpening service to the UK.
The “Re-Sharp” service, to be based at Wood-Mizer UK’s Hever site, is being offered to British customers following its success in Europe and North America.
James Andrews, manager of Wood-Mizer UK, said: “Many of our 250 British customers are asking us to provide a resharpening service so that they can spend more time sawing and earning income – and indeed more time with their families in the evenings.”
Blades are high temperature solvent washed, sharpened and set using computer controlled setting equipment. The service allows customers to replace one blade at a time as each blade reaches the end of its life, rather than order boxes of ten.
