Christopher Williams has been appointed chief executive of the Royal Forestry Society (RFS) and will be taking up the post on April 26, succeeding Simon Lloyd who has stepped down after eight years in the role.

BMF All Industry Conference moves to November date
With national lockdown restrictions scheduled to be lifted on June 21, the Builders Merchants Federation has confirmed a change of date for the 2021 BMF All Industry Conference, which will now be held from November 4-7.
APF 2021 postponed
Due to the ongoing uncertainties surrounding Covid-19 and after consultation with sponsors, exhibitors and visitors, the directors of APF 2021 have taken the decision to postpone the event for a further year. The show will now take place from September 22-24, 2022 at the same venue at Ragley Estate.
