Accsys Technologies plc, the name behind Accoya modified wood, has posted adjusted EBITDA of €21.2m – a 96% growth from €10.8m a year ago – in its preliminary annual results for its financial year ended 31 March 2026.
The results, published on June 16, are confirmation of figures published earlier this year in an Accsys trading update.
Other key financials are record sales volumes of 77,237m³, (FY25 – 63,864m3) up 21% year-on-year, driven by strong demand across all markets; and Group revenue of €153m, up 12% on a year ago and up 21% on a like-for-like basis.
The company closed FY26 with a run rate of 97,248m³, reflecting the annualised level of total sales based on Q4 volumes, placing it on track to achieve its 100,000m³ run rate target for the end of FY27.
Globally, Accoya’s core demand continues to be driven by joinery, cladding and decking applications, while landscaping applications, including public spaces and gardens, represent a growing opportunity driven by low lifetime costs, positive in-use experience and long-term performance.
Total sales volumes in the UK & Ireland were up 12% to 16,810m3 (FY 2025: 14,980m3), while in the rest of Europe it was up 21% to 18,642m3 (FY 2025:15,359m3), with particularly strong demand for decking in Central Europe.
North America sales volumes rose 60% to 16,853m3 (FY 2025: 10,562m3), with for the Rest of the World the total increased 9% to 6,152m3 (FY 2025: 5,619m3). Accoya for Tricoya sales volumes were 18,780m3 (FY 2025: 17, 344m3) – up 8%
Accsys reported strong progress on optimisation of existing assets, with a €2.6m acetyls storage expansion project successfully completed in Arnhem to increase production efficiency. Production capacity doubled at Accoya Color at the Barry manufacturing site.
Other updates in the past year include the addition of 10 new distributors, with three in North America and Mexico, plus launch of the Decking Collection, the Group’s first range of finished Accoya products, broadening access to end customers.
Accoya continues to be chosen for high profile projects including: ‘Platform 37’ Google HQ, London; the Edelman Fossil museum, USA and the Queen Elizabeth II Memorial Garden, London.
The Group says it remains focused on innovation, market share gains, increasing capacity utilisation and driving further sustainable improvements in profitability.
