Nexfor Ltd‘s Addspace timber frame kit is attracting a lot of attention at the Ideal Home Show in London where the company has received nearly 100 enquiries a day since the event opened to the public on March 7.
The Addspace kit, which is sold to builders through Jewson, enables a single room extension to be erected in just six hours. The roof and wall panels are made from Sterling OSB 3.
Nexfor’s marketing and sales director Maurice Fitzgibbon said the product was an attractive alternative to the 250,000 traditional home extensions and 200,000 conservatories built in the UK each year.
Nexfor’s Sterling OSB 3 is well represented at the show as it is also used in the LiveIn Quarters modular apartments and Bellway’s timber frame show home.
