JB Kind managing director Philip Smith has been personally thanked by the Indonesian ambassador for his company’s efforts to help conserve the Sumatran rainforest.
His excellency Yuri Octavian Thamrin met Mr Smith at the Royal Society for the Protection of Birds’ (RSPB) headquarters in Sandy, Bedfordshire.
Door supplier JB Kind is backing the RSPB’s campaign to conserve and restore the 250,000-acre Harapan lowland rainforest.
As part of its efforts, the company’s nine lorries have been painted with the campaign’s “Save the Sumatran rainforest” photo and details.
