Arnold Laver Timber World has promoted branch manager Barry Stimpson to executive director.
Mr Stimpson is in charge of Arnold Laver’s Reading depot on Basingstoke Road, which employs more than 30 people. He became branch manager in 2005 and will remain responsible for the continued success of the timber depot, which is set to launch a new joinery showroom later this year.
He started his career as a trade counter assistant at Jewsons and joined Arnold Laver as softwood sales manager 10 years ago.
