Arnold Laver Timber World has been identified as one of Britain’s top 100 private companies in the latest annual Sunday Times PricewaterhouseCoopers Profit Track 100 league table.

The third generation Yorkshire-based company, which was founded in Sheffield by Arnold Laver when he returned from the first world war, now has 14 branches across the UK.

Managing director Andrew Laver said: “This is good news not only for our business, but for the communities in which we are based where our success brings investment, jobs and in some cases the re-generation of an area.”
