British Columbia wood forest product companies have donated C$500,000 to earthquake and tsunami relief in Japan.
A spokesman for Canfor, Canfor Pulp, West Fraser, Tolko and Interfor said the Canadian companies have close ties with Japan. Their donation to the Canadian Red Cross will be matched by the Province of British Columbia.
