“The market is looking more and more for complete solutions around the topic of real wood in furniture construction,” said Gerrit Becker, managing director.

Currently, the company predominantly manufactures its moulded wood components in plywood, used in furniture applications.

The company has invested a “large sum” in a new 2,500m2 production hall near Near Cluj-Napoca, Romania, with significant investment in classic woodworking machines and CNC machining centres.

“This enables us to produce complex and precise furniture parts from beech, oak, ash or American walnut,” said Mr Schelper. “We buy exclusive squared lumber of high quality and with FSC and PEFC certifications.”

Becker will present its solid wood components for the first time at ZOW, the supplier fair for the furniture industry and interior design, which will take place in Bad Salzuflen, Germany, from February 4-6.
