Beesley & Fildes Ltd has switched its engineered wood products supplier to Boise Cascade.
The Merseyside builders merchant group, which has eight branches, formerly offered Masonite I-joists. Masonite pulled out of the UK I-joist market last summer.
Crown Timber, the UK and Ireland distributor for Boise Cascade, becomes Beesley’s new supply partner.
“Recent changes to the number of engineered wood products suppliers to the UK necessitated us to review our position,” said Beesley & Fildes timber sales manager Stuart Hodkinson.
“It became apparent very quickly that the Crown Timber offering best suited our needs in terms of flexibility, stability and long-term growth.”
