Berry Finance has filed lawsuits at Braunschweig district court against Parador-Holzwerke GmbH & Co KG and Meister-Leisten Schulte GmbH claiming they have infringed its patents.
Berry Group subsidiary Välinge Aluminium AB has been granted a patent in the US and has a patent pending in Europe for its “Combiloc” system.
The patent claims cover the invention and the advantages of using different material composition or material properties on or between the long or short side of a floorboard. These locking elements can be the same material as the floorboard or of a different material.
The products Berry is contesting are Bellano Click from Parador-Holzwerke and Collection Tritec from Meister-Leisten Schulte.
