The trend for natural products made from renewable sources has prompted Briman Joinery to introduce its first range of proprietrary branded timber windows.
The Baymead Windows range offers a variety of options in two basic styles – the Baymead and the Baymead Barn.
The former incorporates an ovolo moulding to suit the needs of new homes built in the traditional style, conversions and refurbishment projects.
The latter has been designed specifically for barn and other farm building conversions and features splayed mouldings on the vertical frame to blend in with adjoining buildings and the environment in which many such conversion projects take place.
Both ranges are made to measure and feature high performance technical specifications. Each design incorporates flush fitting sashes, weatherstripping, concealed head trickle vents and three variations of glazing bars for the fully glazed options including cottage, curved and Georgian bars.
Briman’s Brian Hucker, the director responsible for the windows and doors division, said: “A process of evolution over the past few years has enabled us to introduce these two designs as a means of focusing our attention on meeting the known needs of specific groups of self-builders, builders and refurbishment specialists whose choices, other than through wholly bespoke solutions, has previously been strictly limited.”
