Heavyweight broadcaster Justin Webb, who presents on the Today programme, will be this year’s TTJ Awards 2025 host and guest speaker.

Justin, the longest serving presenter of the Today programme on Radio Four, will provide the entertainment and host the TTJ Awards ceremony on September 19 at the Hilton London Bankside.

Justin also presents the hugely successful Americast podcast, having served as the BBC’s Chief Washington Correspondent for the best part of a decade.

He is a regular columnist on US affairs for The Times. In his previous career he was Europe correspondent and a foreign affairs correspondent covering the first Gulf War, the fall of the Soviet Union and the first all-race South African election.

His book on a 1970s childhood ‘The Gift of a Radio’ was widely praised for its humour and honesty, including by Alan Johnson, the former Home Secretary, who called it ‘one of my books of the year: beautifully written.’
