The award, run in association with the Structural Timber Association, will see the Leighton Buzzard-based sideloader manufacturer involved in sponsoring the TTJ Awards for the first time.

The company manufactures sideloaders, including electric, diesel, multi-directional, special purpose vehicles and picking systems. Timber and building materials handling is one of its key target audiences.

Customers include timber wholesalers, sawmills, wood processing companies, kitchen manufacturers and prefabricated house builders, moving products such as panel products, sawn timber, decor, kitchen worktops, window profiles, laminated beams and also construction elements.

The company is part of Austria-based Bulmor Industries GmbH, which has 125 employees and also operates a base in The Netherlands.

The Structural Timber Systems Supplier of the Year category recognises service and product quality among manufacturers and suppliers of timber frame, roof trusses, engineered structural floors, SIPs, cross-laminated timber and other wood construction methods. Voting customers in this category included architects, builders, merchants and construction professionals.

The 27th annual TTJ Awards takes place on September 15 at the Hilton London Bankside and will also celebrate the 150th anniversary of TTJ.
