The British Woodworking Federation (BWF) has “gone back to the drawing board” to relaunch its website.

For the first time many of its publications are available, with some downloadable free of charge to members. Where a charge is made for publications a secure online payment system is now in place to help visitors access the information they require safely.

The new site also has a members’ only section which uses individual member identification and password security. This section includes news on industry developments, BWF activities and specialist advice and guidance.

Information on the BWF’s timber windows, and fire doors and doorsets scheme is also available with downloadable versions, and the searchable database of BWF members has been improved.

BWF director Richard Lambert said: “The website is now an integral part of how we work and we are already looking at ideas to develop it further.”
