The British Woodworking Federation is aiming to have signed up 100 Approved Fire Doors Centres by the end of 2003.

Sharjeel Khawaja, manager of the BWF-CERTIFIRE Fire Door and Doorset Scheme, said: “Our ultimate target is to have 200 centres by the end of 2004 – it’s ambitious but we’re pretty confident it’s achievable.”

The BWF had a target of 25 centres by the end of 2002 – and it achieved 26.

Now a new recruitment drive is being launched nationwide. For further information call 020 7608 5050.
