Vancouver-based CAE Forestry Systems is to supply an OSB flaking line to Triboard’s Kataia mill in New Zealand.
The line will consist of a long log flaker and a batch feed facility featuring CAE’s disposable knife system. CAE says the line will provide increased flake control, higher yield and reduced production costs.
Triboard will be producing flakes for its own engineered wood panel.
