Calders & Grandidge has installed an Avola Gama compound angle cross-cut saw.

The machine was supplied to the treated timber specialist by John Penny Woodworking Machinery Ltd, which secured the UK distributorship for Avola earlier this year.

John Penny has also supplied another Gama since it secured the distribution deal.

“These heavy-duty saws have found a ready market in the timber frame industry and in log building manufacturing and nave been developed to include CNC controls,” John Penny said.

Machines can be viewed and demonstrated at the supplier’s Abingdon showroom.
