Canfor Corporation has agreed an 11% pay rise deal with its largest sawmill and logging union.
The six-year pay deal, agreed with the Industrial, Wood and Allied Workers Union, applies to about 2,500 workers at Canfor’s Interior Region mills. Employees still have to vote on the pay offer.
It follows a similar agreement with employers in the southern interior region of British Columbia.
