Birkenhead-based agent Hunt Brothers & Co Ltd says its Malaysian plywood supplier Cymao Plywood Sdn Bhd has achieved CE 2+ structural certification on all panel sizes.
Ian Cartwright, Hunt Brothers director, also said that UK shipments of Cymao’s Forest Stewardship Council-certified plywood could be doubled from the current 1,500m3 per month in the near future.
Mr Cartwright reported good demand for the FSC product, which is being supplied to several UK importers. DIY chain Wickes is selling the product to consumers.
