Timber industry companies are being invited to find out about the Chinese market in a Shanghai conference next March.

“Timber & Wood Markets”, being organised by Global1 Conferences on March 28-29, will look at the global demand/supply situation, the impact of the 2008 Beijing Olympics on import/export trends, the Chinese government’s forestation plans, standards and regulations in the Chinese construction industry and other issues.

The event is aimed at a wide range of companies, including timber traders, forestry investors, timber product manufacturers, plywood firms, machinery suppliers, consultants and businesses operating in the flooring and drying markets.
