The company has begun a three year growth strategy that has already seen its workforce increase from 35 in 2005 to 65 this year.

Turnover is set to double and profits to increase by 400% at the company which claims to be the country’s first producer of timber windows with a British Fenestration Rating Council energy rating.

“To us a growth strategy is fundamental to the long-term success of any company, and therefore we were delighted to be recognised for what are basic but nevertheless vital business practices,” said Trevor Howard, managing director of Clearwood UK.
