A new contemporary door and window range for leading online window retailer TimberWindows.com is to be made at Cornwall-based sister company Clearwood UK.

The development follows the purchase of TimberWindows.com by Clearwood and Mumford & Wood’s parent company the Performance Window Group (PWG) earlier this year.

Clearwood was recently visited by Cornish MPs Julia Goldsworthy and Matthew Taylor. They were invited to the Redruth factory by PWG chairman Roy Wakeman after he saw an article about sustainable building written by Mr Taylor in a national newspaper.

“Timber is the best solution for homes for both sustainability and the environment and to have a company at the forefront of the market here in Cornwall is extremely positive,” said Mr Taylor.
