About 10,000 people attended TV personality Charlie Dimmock’s Wood & Garden Roadshow.
The event, held at Tortworth Court’s Arboretum near Bristol, was sponsored by wood. for good and Nordic Timber Council and involved Travis Perkins and Finnforest.
A show highlight was Dimmock and celebrity carpenter Will Mockett’s wood working demonstrations showing visitors creative uses of timber supplied by Travis Perkins.
Exhibits included timber summer houses from A&J Sectional Buildings and garden log cabins from Buy Direct on behalf of Finnforest.
Mark Shelton, Travis Perkins regional sales manager, said: ‘This was a tremendous opportunity to show what wooden products we have to offer gardeners from our Garden Dimensions range. The response was excellent.’
