The distribution agreement, covering CML’s entire range of multi-rip saws, was reached during a visit to Daltons Wadkin by CML chief executive Valentino Villa.

The first machine to be despatched from Italy will be a CML J350R Multi Rip with moveable saws. It will be a feature at Daltons Wadkin’s solid timber machining open week from April 29.

"We are delighted to have secured this agreement with Valentino," said Daltons Wadkin director Francis Dalton.

"The machines fit well into our product portfolio and we look forward to showing them off for the first time during our forthcoming open days and also, of course, at W14 later this year."

The CML range caters for small workshops (J250) right up to large operations. Its double spindle edgers have the capacity to cut 1200 board widths and depths of 250mm.

Milan-based CML was founded in 1960 and has supplied its machines to more than 5,000 companies.
