Austrian family business FN Neuhofer Holz of Austria scooped two prestigious awards in June.
The mouldings manufacturer won the Pegasus Prize while Franz Neuhofer senior was presented with the Golden Symbol of Merit of the Republic of Austria by federal president Heinz Fischer.
The Pegasus business prize recognises Neuhofer as one of the top 10 entrepreneurs in the Upper Austrian business world.
The company, based at Zell am Moos, has seen a year on year rise in turnover – which hit 35% in the record breaking year of 2004.
The priniciple contributor to turnover is the company’s range of more than 1,000 different mouldings.
The company exports to more than 70 countries and makes around 80% of its turnover abroad.
