Finnforest has helped former royal butler Paul Burrell to build a community centre for the television programme With a Little Help from My Friends.

The company donated skirting, architraves, dado rails and planed, matched and V-jointed timber to help Mr Burrell, who was butler to the late Princess of Wales, build the centre at an old Victorian school in Barlborough.

Mr Burrell had only five days to work on the project, relying on help from his old classmates and locals. All building materials had to be donated.

A Finnforest spokesperson said: “We were delighted to give our products to Paul to help him with his challenging project. It is such a good cause, and we were really impressed by his challenge.”
