Finnforest is to exhibit for the first time at the Building Schools Exhibition & Conference (BSEC), as it looks to address the needs of the education sector for environmentally-friendly building solutions.

The Tilbury-based firm will exhibit engineered timber construction solutions for walls, roofs and floors, including its Kerto Ripa roofing system, Finnjoists and Leno wall panels.

These, it said, can provide Building Schools for the Future (BSF) architects and contractors with “a means of constructing new school buildings that is underpinned by environmental credibility”.

“The aim of delivering ‘transformational’ education by 2020 is clearly dependent on the success of the BSF initiative, meaning that the construction industry has a real opportunity to benefit from the work on offer,” said Kevin Riley, Finnforest building solutions director

The fourth BSEC will take place at Manchester Central on February 11-12.
