Norbord’s sales office in Cowie was closed today and staff sent home because of fresh heavy snowfalls.
The company sent staff home at 11am because of substantial amounts of snow overnight and today. “Most roads, including major routes and motorways, are at a standstill,” it said.
Norbord said the adverse weather would affect its deliveries but it would be in touch with customers to reschedule delivery dates.
“We plan to reopen at 8.30am tomorrow morning and resume service as normal.”
