Belgium’s only OSB manufacturer Genk-Agglo can now sell its products on the German housebuilding market after being awarded the coveted Z certificate.

Managing director Didier Goesaert said: “Obtaining the German Z label is very important to us, as it gives us access to a huge new market.”

He said the OSB boards, measuring 10-18mm and 18-26mm, can be used for roofing, sub-floors, I-joist webs, packaging and crating, and as decorative floor or wall coverings in the construction of German houses.

Agglo uses Forest Stewardship Council labelled wood for its products.
