Team Prevent, which has provided a strategic occupational health plan for the German wood industry over more than 10 years, has entered an alliance with British firm On Site Occupational Health Care to provides services under the name Team Prevent UK.
The company’s involvement in Germany included baseline health screening for more than 300,000 timber sector workers. It claims the industry benefited from a significant reduction in sickness and a halving of accident rates.
“We believe that many of the initiatives we have introduced across Europe could be of significant benefit to construction companies in the UK,” said Team Prevent general manager Norbert Wieneke.
