For the first time, WoodmacAsia2003 and FurniTekAsia2003 will have a partner country – Germany – for the September show.
German companies, backed by the German goverment, will showcase the latest technological advancements including production line design, adhesives, dryers, cutting tools, coatings and furniture accessories.
The event takes place at the Singapore Expo on September 9-12 and other exhibitors will be present from Austria, China, Taiwan, Finland, Japan and the US.
The WoodmacAsia2003 conference, themed “Adapting to Changing Trends – Excelling in Challenging Times”, will address issues including recycling and alternative wood resources, increasing efficiency through outsourcing and the design and marketing of wooden furniture products.
A special session on Indonesia will give advice to those wanting to tap into business opportunities in the country’s woodworking and forestry industry.
