The event, which includes a variety of timber products for gardens and landscaping, will benefit from a more logical layout designed to create a more “rewarding buying experience”.

Changes include landscaping moving to Hall 4 to create a logical link between the garden care, machinery and nursery zones, while a new layout for outdoor living in Halls 1 & 2 will incorporate the Leisure and Outdoor Furniture Association’s zone.

Glee managing director Alison Jackson said it was vital the show reflected changes in the industry over the last decade.

“Some sectors have expanded whilst others contract,” said Ms Jackson. “There have also been many new profit opportunities for the retailer.”

Glee 2007 will take place on September 16-18 at Birmingham NEC.
